Fairlie, Chicago hosted Green Wedding Alliance Show!

Wondering how the Green Wedding Alliance Show went, here is our overview!

Committed is a one-of-a-kind wedding event in Chicago, showcasing the city's leading eco-friendly wedding vendors, from planners to florists to caterers, all members of the Green Wedding Alliance. In short, this means that every vendor you meet is equally passionate about sustainability, making it easy to find the right vendors for an eco-conscious celebration.

In a more personal and relaxed setting, you'll have the chance to chat with friendly, down-to-earth vendors who are excited to help bring your dream wedding to life while keeping sustainability at the forefront. Choosing eco-conscious vendors doesn’t mean compromising on quality. Each vendor is an experienced professional who knows how to create a luxurious experience while being mindful of the environment and reducing waste.

This year, Green Wedding Alliance had their Committed show at Fairlie, Chicago, an industrial-feel private event space in Chicago’s West Loop that can host up to 250 guests. The beauty of this show is that you can not only meet your sustainable vendors, but also tour the venue at the same time. Free Parking is available on-site which makes things much easier, too.

Next, there were around 20 vendors to showcase their business ranging from catering to planners, photographers, drawing artis, and venues. What we liked the most about the event was that it was pretty intimate and there was plenty of time to get to know each vendor. There was no rush to get through the whole list of people and no one was jumping at you trying to sell you their service. We were surprised to see that not that many couples attend the show this time, however, we anticipate more and more couples taking advantage of shows like these. (Maybe it was just the weather that day so people didn’t feel like going anywhere)

Anyways, in case you didn’t go, here are some of the vendors we’ve met and had an amazing time getting to know!
